CHICAGO — Jessica Estrada, principal in charge of the Phoenix office at Grant Thornton, has been recognized as one of the city’s “Outstanding Women in Business.” This award celebrates 25 accomplished female executives selected from nearly 300 candidates, recognizing their exceptional leadership and achievements in business.
Estrada has a long history of collaborating across the firm’s service areas, building high-performing teams and providing expert guidance to her clients. Her experience spans industries including transportation, services, sports, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors. She has also worked closely with multinational clients, partnering with Grant Thornton International Ltd. network members.
“Jessica’s ability to combine industry expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills allows her to understand client challenges and provide tailored solutions that make a difference,” said Tony Perazzo, managing principal for the firm’s West region. “Her accomplishments extend beyond business success and this recognition is a testament to her impact both at work and outside of it.”
Estrada is a dedicated advocate for gender diversity and leadership development. She serves as Chair of the Phoenix chapter for 50/50 Women on Boards, a global nonprofit organization working to advance gender balance and diversity on corporate boards. She is also a board member of the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, which provides education, career development and social services to women. Additionally, she served for two years on the board of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
“I am honored to be recognized among such incredible women leaders in Phoenix,” said Estrada. “This award reflects the collective effort and support of my team, whose collaboration has been essential to my success. Phoenix has become home for me, and I’m excited to continue contributing to its growth and the amazing work we’re doing here.”
Estrada is a certified public accountant in Arizona and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Augustana College (Illinois) and a master’s degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University.
The Phoenix Business Journal will honor the winners at the Outstanding Women in Business awards on March 25 in Phoenix.
